I can't believe sweet Bubba is gone.  You're right, BC, his smile did light up a room.  He had an aura about him that instantly drew people to him -- you knew instantly he was a kind, caring and fun-loving person.

Dear Scooter -- I am so sad for you and Mitzi.  Can't imagine the pain of losing a grandchild, much less one so young and vibrant.

All are in my prayers.

--Allan

Scooter and Mitzi, I am so sorry to hear of your heartbreaking loss. We will all keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I hate that I was not aware of Bubba's memorial service in time to attend but I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to visit with him a lot when he was hospitalized in Jackson a few years ago...and later at our 40th reunion.

I have loved reading all the beautifully expressed sentiments and enjoying all the wonderful memories of Bubba. He was a huge part our wonderful school experiences and he'll continue to live on in our hearts.

"Our Wonderful School Experience". Well stated Kathe, and Oh so true.

In fact, how fortunate of us to have the entire Greenville experience during that time.

Thank you to all for your kind words concerning our loss.  Scooter

Thank you all so very much. Mitzi and I have 11 grandchidren. Reagan was #2 and only sixteen. I know losses come in life, especially as we get older. It is hard to comprehend happy life without those we have loved so. I am sad for Bubba's family. I just always expected him to be part of us and with us. As I did sweet Reagan. Again, thank you for your comments, thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear of Jimmy Peets passing. Had some great times playing little league baseball with him.

So sorry to hear about Jimmy Peets. I've known him since Buster Brown Park days. I was his baseball catcher during high school. He left us too soon.

I am so sad to hear of Jimmy Peets passing. Jimmy and I were baseball buddies for years. He really had a great fastball. When he threw side-armed, which was most of the time, it was hard to stand in the batter's box. He and "Rookie Coleman" will make a pretty good roster of starting pitchers.   (Scooter)

I just heard that one of my favorite people at GHS had passed away, Nancy Henderson. She was so precious and so full of life. We had some great times cheerleading together. I pray for her husband and three children. She will be missed🙏
