Joe, I just read about your mom. She was an amazing "Lady." There is not enough room on this page to write all her accomplishments in life. We all had a great life on Les Lane Street with great parents!!!  So sorry she is gone but I know she is teaching someone in heaven. Tell Susan hello for me and I love you both! Marilyn

Bubba grew up next door to Anne Gibson (Eatherly), and since I spent a lot of time at her house, we always played with him and his sisters.  In 4th grade, at the school Valentine's Day party, Bubba presented ME with a little silver heart charm with BB + RW on the back-----I still have it!  I also remember that Frank and I hung out with him somein Memphis in the early 70s then we all lived there.  Sad to think he is gone, but at least Frank was there to greet him.

I am shocked and saddened beyond words. From the 7th grade at EE Bass until our graduation from Greenville High in 1969 Bubba and I were best friends. We did almost everything together. I was always amazed at the number of people that Bubba knew. How many times did I ask, "Who was that?" and he would tell me about them. Bubba was also incredibly curious. He would become quietly serious when asking questions about something or someone. His walk and his laugh are most memorable to me. I will miss him. I was not able to attend his funeral. Mitzi and I lost our 16 year-old granddaughter in a car accident on September 25, so we simply could not handle losing Bubba too.  (Scooter)
