Wanted to leave a message here when I noticed that one hadn't been left. Monday, August 29, 2016 at 8:45am CST, Dr. Sidney J. McKay, long time Friend, Mentor, Director and Inspiration in the music world passed away. I don't know all the particulars, but he was recovering from a broken collarbone, and I read that he had a heart problem. He will truly be missed, and is survived by his wife, Mary Jane, his son, Julian, his daughter Susan McKay Lovelace, and their families. God bless you Mr. McKay.
