My prayers remain with Scott and his family. I will always have fond memories of Scott as my backyard neighbor and childhood friend. Many wonderful memories to be sure. God Bless!

Scott, I so wanted to see you at this reunion. My Mother would tell me how you would come in to her store to pick up things. She told me, not so long ago, you told her you just wanted to go to the hills of Arkansas. Get an old rocking chair and sit and rock and just relax & rest. I will always remember in school even with all you had materially you were so humble and never looked down your nose at others less fortunate. You always had a very kind & loving spirit. I will miss seeing you! I waited to long, my loss! Now you can Rock, Rest, & Relax in that Rocking Chair in peace my friend.

Scott and his family were a serious part of the Greenville scene for a good number of years and still have some significance. Hank and Jane Rule are worthy and notable figures. And Harold, what a sweet guy. Missed. Scott was my friend. Even though years and distance separated us, he was still on the radar screen of my memory. He was also a sweet boy. Kind. He never seemed to let the Burdine name make him something that he was not. He is being missed.
